→ ધારો કે, 1 પેનની મૂ.કિં. =1 છે.

12 પેનની વે.કિ. 15 પેનની મૂ.કિં. જેટલી છે

12× વે.કિં. = 15× મૂકિં.

12x વે,કિં. =15x1

વે.કી = (15/12) = 5/4

હવે,

% નફો =[ (વે.કિં.-મૂ.કિં.) /મૂકિં.]x100%

=[ {(5/4)-1} / 1] x100%

= [(5-4)/4 ] x100%

= (1 /4 )×100%

= 25%
