What happened to " Manthara " after the exile of "Shri Ram"?
When the "Bharat" and "Shatrughna" returned to Ayodhya when the exile of Shri Ram, they came to know that the father Shree died and Ram, Lakshman and mother Sita have gone to the exile.
When Shatrughan came to know that Manthara was responsible for this, then Shatrughan grabbed her hair and started beating her, meanwhile Mata Kaushalya intervened and separated Manthara.
Manthara feels deeply remorseful as time passes. She imprisons herself in a room and keeps on crying repenting of her actions.
During this, she remains locked in the same room for 14 years and never comes out.
After fourteen years, when Ram came to Manthara's door, Manthara got frightened, he felt that Ram has come to punish me, but Shri Ram accepted him by bowing down.
